I) Power loss by 10-15% even if it is same i.e. mentioned in factory fitted CNG kits offered by car brands.
 

     6. Disadvantages Of CNG Over Petrol!

I) No boot space or less boot space.
II) Limited availability. (As CNG pumps aren't available easily in or outside the city).
III) Short in range than petrol (As CNG tank has less capacity than petrol tank).

     7. Myths

I) CNG damages engine?
    CNG doesn't damages engine at any point of time  but only if it is maintained well and timely.

II) CNG catches fire?
     CNG is lighter gas and it dissipates into the environment  and is unlikely to acquire enough concentration in the air to explode. Moreover CNG has a higher burning point  (54°c) which is more than petrol (232°-280°c).

      8. Reality

 I) CNG tanks are safer and stronger than Diesel and Petrol tank.
II) CNG cylinders only catch fire if the fitting is not proper.

You can freely go for CNG fitting in your car for better results.

I) Get it installed from a govt. approved center.
II) Get it endorsed in your RC and Insurance.
III) Take good care of your car and get it serviced regularly.
